What we collect
If you ask us to find you an adviser we collect the details on that form: your name, company, email, phone, the property and the rough figures, your trading history and credit position as you describe them, and anything you type in the notes. We record the page you came from and your IP address to detect spam. The calculators run in your browser and send nothing.
Why, and on what basis
To pass your enquiry to an adviser so they can contact you (consent, given by ticking the box). To keep a record of the introduction for 12 months so we can follow up if the adviser cannot help (legitimate interests). With your separate consent, to email you occasional guides and updates (consent, withdrawable at any time).
Who we share it with
If you ask for an adviser we share your details with one commercial finance adviser, [Adviser firm name], and with nobody else. Their own privacy notice applies once they have your details. Our email, hosting and CRM providers process data on our behalf. We do not sell or rent your details.
How long we keep it
Adviser enquiries: 12 months. Marketing consent: until you unsubscribe, or after two years of not opening our emails.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw consent, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
